Review by hotel critic
Recently, I had a delightful romantic escape at Hotel Modigliani, a charming boutique gem tucked away just off Piazza Barberini. The hospitable staff immediately made me feel at home, and I felt completely secure exploring the lovely Via della Purificazione, which is a whisper of history leading you through the ancient essence of Rome. My room, albeit compact, was pristine and equipped with all the essentials, including a working air conditioner and WiFi, making it perfect for a solo traveller like myself. The breakfast was a joyous affair-fresh pastries, homemade cakes, and the option for cooked eggs each morning served in a beautifully decorated room that echoed the historic charm of Umbria. It was the little garden area that truly captivated me, providing a serene retreat after sun-soaked adventures exploring the A-list sights like the Colosseum and the Forum of Julius Caesar. If you're seeking a blend of comfort and character in the heart of Rome, Hotel Modigliani is undeniably an enchanting choice.
